Blog Guidelines and Rules!

Keeping the blog secure is of utmost important to us. Through blogging, the students of 1A have the opportunity to learn about appropriate online behaviour. The following guidelines have been established to ensure the safety of our students when blogging.

• Students will only be identified by their first name.
• Posts written by students are checked by teachers before they are published on the blog.
• Posts will not include personal details about students such as addresses and family information.
• All comments submitted have to be approved by the teacher before they are included on the blog.
• All students must have parental permission to have their photo published on the blog.
• Parents who leave comments are asked to use their first name only so as not to identify their child.
• All students must abide by the blogging rules that we have established as a class.

Can you help?

Throughout the year we will be in need of tissues, especially during the colder months. If you see bargain price tissues when you’re out shopping it would be lovely if you could buy a box for the class.

Things your child will need for school…

Art Smock, Library bag and comfortable shoes for running and playing.

Home Readers…

Please remember to read with your child every day. Reader bags, reader folders, and books will need to be replaced at your cost if lost or damaged beyond use. Please see myself of Linda if you accidentally damage or lose any of these items.
